| | Ok, so.
I moved away from all of my family and friends.
I gave up going to school.
I passed on a possible photo manipulation/photography job (my DREAM job.. and it was mine)
I gave up on all of this to be with the man that I love, and I don't regret it. (story of how many people's lives? I know.)
But I think it's time to do a little something for me.
There's a singing contest here in Casper today. No, I may not win... but hey at least I'm throwing it out there! It's something I've always want it to do. You never have to WIN a competition to get recognition. (look at American idol! half the time no one cares about the winner.. the ones that were voted off get sweet record deals and more fame than the person who actually won!)
But anyway, the top 10 here I think go to state fair.. then the winner from there gets a guaranteed audition for the real American Idol.
The only thing slightly holding me back is that Nick is going to Drill this weekend FAR away.. and I wanted to see him before he goes.. but the contest starts really close after work and right after he's off work he's helping a friend with his stupid motorcycle.
But like I said.. this is for me this time. So I guess I'll just leave him a note despite how much I want to be there when he leaves.
